
Born in Saitama, Japan, Tomoko Akiike began her piano studies at the age of four.
After graduating from the prestigious Toho Gakuen School of Music in Tokyo, she earned her Master’s degree in piano from the same institution.
Her academic and professional development has been guided by eminent masters.
She studied piano under Masa Abe, Harumi Tsuji, Shun Sato, and Hisako Ueno, and furthered her training in solfège with Mariko Sugawara.
She specialized as a Maestro Collaboratore under the guidance of Shizuko Kinoshita and Hiroyoshi Tajima.
In 2025, she served as an official piano accompanist at the 39th “Ismaele Voltolini” International Singing Contest, where she was awarded a diploma of merit.
Currently, she is pursuing her advanced studies in Italy, enrolled in the Biennio (Master’s) course for Maestro Collaboratore at the “Evaristo Felice Dall’Abaco” Conservatory of Verona in the class of M° Carlo Benatti.
